Greetings from Austria!

Oh blog how I have missed you!!! It has taken me three weeks to find a place here in Innsbruck with computers that do not crash every five seconds or that cost an arm and a leg to use. Now that I have found free, easy internet ... expect many updates!

Hopefully I haven't lost all my readers ....

Anyway, the trip has been great thus far. Innsbruck is stunningly beautiful and complete heaven for anyone of the outdoorsy bent! The first weekend here we took a trip to Florence and Sienna where we ate gluttonous amounts of food, drank wine till we were silly, did a wine tour, and inadvertently joined a parade!!! The boytoy then flew in and we spent a not so fabulous weekend in Switzerland... well, sort of. We spent a whole two days chasing eachother around Munich and then sitting in the airport waiting for luggage that never arrived. Once we finally got to Switzerland, things went much more smoothly. Hung out in Lucerne for a day and then headed to Zurich to catch the Ironman! Watching a foreign Ironman was a blast and I will most definitly expound on it later! The free booze that was flowing like mad at the finish line party left me drunker than I have been in a very long time!!! The next weekend Josh, B, and I headed to Lyon, St. Etienne, and Paris to catch the last two stages of the Tour de France .... wow .... I don't even know what to say!! We were up against the barriers for both stages and the atmosphere was amazing. More on that later too ....!

This weekend I am staying here in Innsbruck to indulge my outdoorsy side. A couple days hiking, biking, and who knows, maybe a jaunt on the river?!

More to come....!

Glad you're back online... I'm heading back to Alaska this evening and will be expecting more fun updates when I get there.
